about
Dr fiona Hargraves phd
Sports, exercise, nutrition and behavioural scientist.
Fiona is a qualified exercise physiologist/sports scientist, nutritionist, and wellness coach with a PhD in exercise science, behavioural psychology, mental health and digital technology. She has over three decades of experience in the fitness industry in the US and Australia - as a trainer, a trainer of trainers, a trainer to the stars, a fitness studio owner and fitness author - and in academia as a researcher, university lecturer and published author.

Fiona works with athletes across a range of sports, has a special interest helping athletes master the skills to build a lifestyle that promotes high performance, particularly in young athletes.

Fiona embraces the opportunity to translate scientific evidence into useful strategies to cut through the 'noise' and help people get on with achieving goals. She develops programs in consultation with coaches, trainers and sports scientists to address gaps in athlete development. Her signature 'habit change' course is particularly effective in helping athletes achieve clarity and outcomes.

Fiona is a dressage rider in NSW, Australia, and when not doing 'sciencey' things, you'll find her riding horses, in the garden with her dogs or lifting in the gym.
